Welcome Week is an amazing opportunity for new Gatton students to get to know one another and their new campus.

Halls O Week runs in conjunction with the UQ program. This is a great opportunity to become familiar with your new living environment.

Create your own o week

Visit the orientation website and create your own O Week experience using the event planner. You can print your O Week Program at the UQ Gatton Student Centre (Building 8101A).

JSAPP: JUMPSTART ACADEMIC PREPARATION PROGRAM 

The JSAPP helps students transition to a new educational institution and a new cultural setting. We strongly recommend you attend the JSAPP, particularly if this is your first time studying in Australia. 

The JSAPP is a flexible program of modules covering many topics of interest to new students, including academic writing and study skills.

UQ UNION MARKET DAY

A day to celebrate student life with plenty of stalls, food, entertainment, giveaways and demonstrations. Consider joining one of the many sporting, recreational, departmental or international clubs. Like the UQGatton Facebook page for Market Day info and to keep up to date on other student events.
