UQ Res.
Covid Safe.
The health and safety of our UQ Res community is our highest priority.
Your safety. Our Priority.
Here’s how we’re working to keep everyone at UQ Res safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Check in And Stay Apart
Enforcing social distancing and other Queensland Government guidelines.
More Cleaning, More Often
Providing hand sanitising stations throughout the property and ensuring all communal areas are cleaned regularly.
Keeping You Safe
Posting up-to-date signage regarding UQ and Queensland Government COVID-19 requirements.
Vaccinations
You now need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to live with us at UQ Res.
We have decided that all residents, staff, contractors and guests living, working and visiting UQ Res must be fully vaccinated before their check in date. We officially open our doors on January 10th 2022.
What you need to do:
Residents of UQ Res will be able to upload a declaration of their vaccination status via the UQ Res Resident Portal in StarRez.
If you don’t have your vaccination certificate, the Australian Government Department of Health has helpful information that will assist.
If you are not yet double vaccinated:
Please wait until your second dose and you have your certificate.
COVID-19 vaccines are free, even if you are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident. This includes people without a Medicare card and international students.
If you don’t plan on getting vaccinated:
Unfortunately, we require you to be fully vaccinated to stay at UQ Res. If you do not intend to be vaccinated, you will not be able to book with us.
If you have questions, we’re here to help:
Please email [email protected].
